*Buyer Beware!!!* House was completed in Dec 2021 for original purchaser. Once completed, the original purchaser listed the home, as she had built it for her aunt but the aunt later decided she didn’t want to move in. We bought the house in June of 2023 and we were the first ones to actually live in the home. Fast forward 2 years, and we woke up to that sounded like a shotgun being fired in the house. Upon investigating, several tile had cracked and tented. This continued the next several weeks in various places throughout the house along with tile no longer adhering to the floor and grout cracking. Reached out to CIB, and never go a response. They don’t care. They got their money and washed their hands of it. Ended up getting a thorough home inspection of the foundation with nothing unusual that would cause this. Both the inspector and the new tile contractor we hired both stated that this was caused by improper installation. CIB’s contractor didn’t use any sort of membrane over the concrete slab other than over the expansion joints cut into the slab. They used a cheap thin ceramic tile. There is zero evidence that the contractor back buttered the tile before installing, as the tiles came up off the floor very easily. Now we’re out about $40K to redo the tile in our home. Very disappointing. Again, rethink and do your homework before contracting with Coral Isle Builders.

Do not use Coral Idles Builders. They told us it house would be ready in 9-12 months. It to 4 years from start to finish, yes we had ONE Hurricane but one week after Ian they were flying or trusses so that wasn’t an excuse. They can write a book on coming up with excuses why it took so long. But the dagger was two weeks before closing on our house they informed us we owed them an additional $100,000 for DIRT. We scrambled and was able to financially close then found out we paid for noseeum screens that they didn’t use on our house. Just the worse for years that you could ask for lies after lies. They do build a very nice house but not worth the wait and stress. We sold after one year.

We signed a contract with Coral Isle Builders in October 2021 with a 180-day build timeline. We didn’t receive the keys to our home until December 2024 — more than three years later. From the start, customer service was consistently poor. Updates were rare unless we reached out, and we were kept in the dark throughout the build. At closing, we were hit with a $51,848.53 “final invoice” full of surprise charges that were never discussed — including garage doors (the were oringally incorrect before we said something) and significant overages on paint, windows, doors, concrete, and fill. This directly contradicts the company’s claim of "No hidden fees. Our pricing is upfront with no secret additions later so you can sit back, relax, and build with confidence! We take care of everything from the ground up." Since moving in, we’ve requested multiple repairs and fixes. These include defective interior doors, uneven cabinet drawers, a front door that doesn’t lock properly, office doors that do not close, and so much more. Despite repeated emails, Coral Isle has failed to respond or take action. Every subcontractor we've contacted directly has responded promptly and completed their work — but anything Coral Isle is responsible for remains unresolved. This entire experience has been a nightmare, beyond frustrating and disappointing. In my opinion, Coral Isle Builders has shown little accountability or respect for their customers. I do not recommend building with them unless you’re prepared to persistently seek answers and follow up on basic communication.

Thank you for working with us in getting our house finished. Nobody can say building a new house is easy. The quality of the build is very good and your company did follow through. it is a really good idea for anyone investing in such a major purchase to have a some legal backup to overlook documents. It is not that expensive and well worth it no matter what company you are using. Thank you Stephanie.

My personal experience with this builder was a night mare. Don’t believe anything they say. It’s all lies. We have stone falling off the outside of our house, drywall issues, paint missing in spots, doors that are warped, bi fold doors that were never sanded and look terrible and not to mention our kitchen cabinets are totally trashed. Don’t waste your time or money on this builder. We have lived in our house for 5 months and they won’t respond to anything. The finish work is terrible for the cost you pay. Do yourself a favor and build with Paul Beattie or Arnold Robert’s. If you are thinking of building with them do yourself a favor and come see what we are taking about. They do not have any communication and when you ask questions they are extremely rude.
